Things to keep in mind before going to Dwarkadhish Temple

A couple of tips to keep in mind before going for darshan in Dwarkadhish Temple are :



Mandir is situated inside Holigate (Tilak Dwar) where a crowded market is present known as Chhatta Bazzar, therefore vehicles (four-wheelers) cannot go inside. You should walk to the temple or if you are with senior-citizen or children it is a reliable to book a rickshaw (generally it takes ₹20/person)


In Mathura market, it is better to be beware of monkeys before hand. Keep your valuable items like spectacles, Watches, Wallet & Mobile Phones in bags.
(Please Note: If by any chance a monkey takes your item, it is a good suggestion to trade your item with Frooti/Biscuit.      Yes monkey accepts those treats.)


Take care of your belongings, with heavy crowd it is possible that your valuable jewelry item like necklace or bracelet, can fall or be cut by pickpockets. It is advisable not to wear heavy jewelry items before going to Darshanam.


Wear clothes accordingly, you're planning to visit one of the holy places for religious and spiritual significance, not going to a party. Hence, choose outfit accordingly to connect better with the surrounding. Furthermore, avoid wearing leather items (Belts, shoes) inside the temple premises.


Take care not to spread waste near the temple premises. In case you have bought water bottles, keep in mind to dump it in the garbage can after use.
